Sound familiar?

QuickBooks Online can send reminders. It just can't tell your customers apart.

One schedule for everyone

Built-in reminders use one schedule for every customer, so your best client gets the same nudge as your slowest payer.

No way to leave someone out

Customers on payment plans, accounts that pay by purchase order, or a client you're already talking to still get reminded.

Words you didn't write

Reminder emails can go out in wording you'd never use. Some people end up switching them off entirely.

How it will work

Set your rules once. After that it runs on its own.

1

Connect QuickBooks

Sign in through Intuit's official connection screen. We never see your password.

2

Set your rules

Pick a default schedule, then change it for any customer. Put customers on a pause list. Write your own templates with the invoice number, amount and due date filled in.

3

It runs on its own

Each day, LedgerBell will check your open invoices and:

  • Send reminders on each customer's schedule
  • Skip anyone on your pause list
  • Stop as soon as the invoice is paid in QuickBooks
  • Email you a weekly summary of who owes what

You'll switch off QuickBooks' own reminders so nobody gets two. LedgerBell reads invoices, customers and payments. It never edits an invoice and can't move money.

Who it's for

Small businesses and bookkeepers who send invoices from QuickBooks Online.

Owners who chase their own invoices

And would rather set the rules once than remember who to email each week.

Bookkeepers who run receivables for clients

Who need different rules for each client, and for each of their customers.

Service businesses with a few big accounts

Where one badly timed reminder to the wrong customer costs more than a late payment.

Anyone who turned reminders off

Because the built-in ones couldn't be controlled closely enough.

Accounting software

LedgerBell is being built for QuickBooks Online first.

QuickBooks Online First

Reads open invoices, customers and payments. Reminders stop automatically when QuickBooks shows the invoice as paid.

Other software Not planned yet

If you invoice from something else, tell us on the form. If enough people ask, we'll look at it.

Early access pricing

Pricing isn't final yet. The plan is a flat monthly subscription, not a cut of what you collect. People on the waitlist will hear about pricing first and be first to try it.

Questions

Straight answers about how your data will be handled.

Is my QuickBooks data secure?

The connection uses Intuit's official sign-in (OAuth) screen, so we never see or store your password. Access tokens and data will be encrypted in transit and at rest. You can disconnect at any time, and we'll delete your data on request.

What can LedgerBell do in QuickBooks?

Only read. It reads open invoices, customers and payments to decide who gets a reminder. It never creates, edits or voids invoices, and it can't move money.

Will my customers get two reminders?

Not if you switch off QuickBooks' own reminders, and setup will walk you through that before anything is sent.

Can I write my own wording?

Yes. You write the templates. LedgerBell fills in details like the invoice number, amount and due date.

Is this made by Intuit?

No. LedgerBell is an independent tool built by a payments engineer. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Intuit.

When will it be ready?

It isn't built yet. We're talking with small businesses and bookkeepers first. Join the list and we'll email you when early access opens. No spam, and you can unsubscribe any time.
